This was really helpful. I'll keep them in mind for the next update.

imagine closing the browser tab in level 7

I made it to the Compound Level (8? 9? Can't remember) and chose to put the W on the empty space. I didn't even think about the interaction before pressing Ctrl+W, and it closed the tab! That had me laughing. If that was the final level, bravo! Very fun puzzle game. If that was unintended, an easy fix would be to swap it as W+Ctrl doesn't do the same thing. Hilarious though. Well played!

I found a solution to Level 9 (The Compound Level)... Make Ctrl + D rather than Ctrl + W... There seem to be more levels

Yeah I really didn't intend for any solution to be Ctrl + W. (I didn't even know that shortcut closed the tab.) You can use the other letters for that level. You can also use the .exe version if you don't want to deal with any of the shortcuts.

great game but I would prefer grid based movement as there have been times where I accidentally half stepped too far and basically had to reset the whole level

great concept and fun game

Great little puzzle game. I really enjoyed it!

love it quite challenging good job

Awesome game! I really like the original concept of the game! I've personally never really played anything like this before. I had a lot of fun playing these puzzles! There a couple times where I really needed to use all of my brain power but it was absolutely worth it! I really enjoyed playing this game and I hope to see more like this in the future! Very well done! :D

I love this puzzle game. It's very challenging and fun.

I really like the game :D You pranked me with my browser in level 7...

(+2)

Noice!

(+1)

The only problem - sometimes on accident press ctrl + w :D
Everything else is great!

(+4)

Definitely a Baba is You inspired game, very fun to play as well. But my fave element might be the main character > . <

Nice

Nice and cute game!

The rule bending game-play is very creative

I think that this game would really benefit from a grid-based control, sometimes the blocks don't go exactly where I want it to.

(+2)

I like it. Very clever and makes me use my head in an unfamiliar way. Also art is cute and music is calming.

I struggled with movement a lot. Often times I unintentionally moved too far. One time on the undercut level I moved into a block from the left but the block moved down making me restart the level. I think if everything was on a grid with squares the size of your character things would be fixed. The bookmark thing was cute in retrospect, but I don't want to be messing around with my computer so I'm not completing the 9th level.

genius

I feel like I used an area of my brain that I don't normally use. I also like the simple graphics and calming music. As other players have said, the pranks in level 7 made me grin.

I'm glad to see my game listed with Baba is You in Inspiration Source. Baba is You is an awesome game, though, so I'm a little afraid of it.

You may already know it, but if you play a game called dropboy(https://torcado.itch.io/dropboy), you may discover something new.

(DeepL translation. Sorry if that doesn't make sense.)

I saw your game a few months ago and I couldn't get over how clever it was!

(+1)

Very good use of the theme, would have been nice if the CTRL key could lock into place. A bunch of times I solved the puzzle and then hit the CTRL key too far. Well done!

(+1)

Well done! I enjoyed the interesting control set and how you incorporated the keyboard.

(+2)

Great game! It's fun to tax the brain by changing the rules constantly. The biggest problem that I had was just barely nudging a key out of its box so that I had to restart the level, which was annoying. If you pick this back up after the Jam and fix that issue, then you've got a really freaking awesome game. Keep up the work!

Amazing consept

(+1)

Level 7 is pure genius

(+1)

You were sneaky making me bookmark your game in level 7. A very fun puzzler but rigid grid movement would remove some frustration.

(+2)

woah, this game is actually awesome amazing idea

(+2)

Super concept. I'm big fan of Baba is you and you totally nailed the idea. If you continue the game could you change the WASD controls for arrow keys because for people with non-qwerty keyboard it's really hard to control (even if it's supposed to be the theme of the jam ;) )

(+2)

I used a similar idea for my game but I like how you can swap different keys for different directions. Very clever! Nice aesthetic too!

(+2)

Cool concept. Kudos.

Please make this a full game. It's that good. Not just the concept, but the actual quality of the puzzles in the game too.

Someone else already said it, but the character movement should be strictly grid-based as well as the keys. And it's a bit confusing that the squares on the key movement grid are half the size of the keys themselves, but I'm only pointing out such a small flaw because I want this game to be really good.

(+2)

The game is really nice and the music to, i also really like the art style. I like everything about this game :)

(+2)

Very fun.  The later puzzles got to be very challenging.  The art and music gave a nice calm feeling.  Reminds me of Baba is You a little bit but is distinct enough to be interesting.

(+2)

Nice concept, nice execution

(+1)

Ctrl+D... Naughty

(+2)

fun idea and game, but hard to play on browser due to browser shortcuts, maybe it's just because i'm playing on chrome

(+2)

neat concept. i like your inspirations

(+3)

Really cool idea! As a fan of "baba is you", i like it. It feels like the grid movement could be better, but its a great execution for a game jam game.

thanks!
